Dodo Hunziker (born 1973) is a filmmaker and startup founder based in Bern, Switzerland. Since 2006, he has been directing and producing films for cinema, TV, and new media. After studying graphic design and working as art director, he went on to study film at the PCFE in Prague. In 2006, Dodo Hunziker co-founded the production company DokLab GmbH together with Urs Schnell. His first feature documentary, TIBETAN WARRIOR (2015), was shown in cinemas and on television and translated by Netflix into eight languages. He worked as a producer on the award-winning film OSTROV (2021) and as creative director on BOTTLED LIFE (2012). Hunziker is member of the Swiss and European Film Academy as well as the Swiss Authors and Directors Association. Since 2024, he is focusing on the startup «Filmium», a film search engine that promotes visibility for Swiss and European cinema and connects the audience with the film gems across all streaming platforms.
